Use of lab cast film machine – Hartek

The main purpose of the lab cast film machine is as follows:
(1) on line extrusion casting of single layer cast film.
A small-scale single-layer casting film experimental line consisting of a single mini-extruder and a mini-casting machine is designed. The melt is poured onto the casting roll for cooling and setting. All power units are driven by a high-precision servo motor. The thickness of the casting film can be well controlled by adjusting the extrusion amount and the casting roll speed.
(2) on line extrusion casting of multilayer cast film.
A small multi-layer co-extrusion casting film experimental line consisting of several small extruders and a small tape casting machine can be used to prepare two-layer, three-layer, five-layer and even seven-layer multi-structure casting film. The melt is poured onto the tape casting roll to cool and shape. All the power units are driven by high-precision servo motors. Users can adjust the extrusion process. The thickness of casting tape can be controlled well by quantity and casting roller speed.
(3) on line extrusion casting of single layer or multilayer casting film, and on-line MDO longitudinal stretch forming.
Based on the above two types of experimental lines, a small multi-layer co-extrusion casting experimental line can be formed by adding MDO longitudinal stretching unit to realize the on-line extrusion casting of single-layer/multi-layer extrusion casting film and the MDO longitudinal stretching test. It is an ideal experimental equipment for studying functional breathable membranes and microporous membranes.
